 ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA:

 (A) Essential Academic Qualifications (as on 31.12.2020): Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2020. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2020. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply. 

Note: i. The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

  ii. Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application. Where CGPA/ OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into percentage and indicated in the online application. If called for interview, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of these norms.

iii. Calculation of Percentage: The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all the semester(s)/ year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of Honours/ optional/ additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class/ Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.

SBI PO Apply Online & Application Fee

The SBI PO online application process starts from November 14, 2020 and the last date to submit the entries is December 4, 2020.

There is category-wise segregation of SBI PO online application fee structure. It is imperative to note that there is no fee refund once the amount has been paid, neither can it be utilized as a reserve for any other examination or selection process.

SBI PO Prelims 2020 Exam will be conducted online in objective Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format.

- Exam will comprise 3 sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.

-There will be separate sectional timing for each section.

-A total of 100 MCQs will be asked and each question is of 1 mark

-There will be negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each incorrect answer.

-All questions will be set bilingually in English & Hindi, except the English Language section.

SBI PO Exam Centres

Candidates have the flexibility to choose the exam centres as per their preference while they fill the SBI PO online application form. It is one of the most significant exams conducted in the country. Therefore, a list of exam centres is released by SBI in its official notification which mentions the states and cities for the SBI Bank PO exam.

State Bank of India has the power to allocate an exam centre to a candidate other than the choices made by him/her, just in case the selected venues’ seats are full or unavailable.


SBI PO Salary 2020

The SBI POs are offered a pay scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020, which is applicable for Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The starting basic pay offered to SBI POs is Rs 27,620, which includes 4 advance increments.

Apart from this, the probationary officers are also eligible for various allowances such as DA, HRA or Lease rental, CCA, Medical benefits and others.
